Caley Mill and the National Collection of Lavenders
Caley Mill, the headquarters of Norfolk Lavender Ltd, was originally a
water mill for grinding corn. Built in the local carrstone in the 19th
century, and now set in its garden of lavender, roses and herbs, it has
become a distinctive Norfolk landmark. In the grounds, we also have a
National Collection of Lavenders. Each variety or species has its own bed.
There are over 100 different lavenders to see and smell.
The Tea Rooms
Relax here whatever the season. Let us tempt you with a variety of
teas, herbal teas and coffees. Also cakes, scones, cream teas,
snacks, sandwiches and a selection of hot dishes are are served daily between 12 noon & 2p.m.
During warm weather, enjoy your refreshments out in
the patio gardens surrounded by fragrant plants. In the winter,
a cheery log fire adds warmth and cosiness to your visit.
